Solidarity economy and mental health: experience report of virtual practices

ABSTRACT The connection between mental health and work has a long trajectory, often involving oppression restriction of freedom. Seeking new place for users the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS), solidarity economy been highlighted as multiple possibility in fight against stigma, emphasizing people’s autonomy emancipation through cooperativism. Thus, this article aims to bring an interprofessional experience report on universitary extension project Solidarity Economy Mental Health. This is descriptive work, developed based participant observation analyzed light Mikhail Bakhtin Paulo Freire. It concluded that paramount importance construction knowledge, it includes professionals plastic performing arts, health, artisans. training practice several actors contemplates powerful action art, culture, management at social inclusion, critical reflection, field health.
